This is St. Vincent’s One Nineteen. This is where our family doctor is located. It is a very beautiful place.

I just got home from a doctor’s visit. I have been coughing bad for over a week now but I just didn’t do anything because I thought it will get better. But it has gotten worse to the point that I can’t sleep anymore at night. On top of the cough and colds, I have skin allergies too.

Finally, I decided to call the doctor yesterday and they gave me a slot to see our family doctor this morning.

I was hesitant to take over the counter medicine to make my cough better because it might not be good for my diabetes that is why I have to see a doctor.

The doctor said it is just allergies and I can take Claritin. She also gave me a steroid shot as it will work faster for my cough and colds. I just have to take note that the shot will give me higher glucose readings compare to the usual. So I will have to be more careful with what I will eat.
